  1. All Thomas’ suffering and ‘treatment’ in the 7 months, leading to his death, was in private care provision, not in a public NHS ATU.

His shocking abuse, in his first independent living unit in Bradford, Norcott Lodge, was by a private provider.

The boss of Lifeways, where Thomas died, earns £450,000 per annum. When Lifeways , sold out to Cambian backed by USA venture capital, apparently over 100 million was paid, and managers of Lifeways got a 20 million pay out.

The new owners, Cambian, immediately put support workers pay down to below the minimum wage, read their comments on working in the supported living, similar to where Thomas died, and what big cash cows, the learning disabled and autistic represent.

Read how places such as Lifeways, are the government policy for all LD/autistc etc for life.

Read how, any matters about this service, and parents are gagged by the court of protection, so no one knows what is happening in this private provision, which has its own ‘specialist hospitals’ PERFORMING a SIMILAR PURPOSE to the public NHS ATU.

Read how, Thomas started his independent away from home living, being abused badly by a care worker in Norcott Lodge, owned by a care provider, taken over by Cambian, who now own Lifeways.

As with Conor, even if Paula, has a jury in the inquest, and the findings are dire, there is no accountability within the system see blog

And much as Paula would have wanted to keep Thomas safe by her side, the state would not have allowed her.

      1. And, in addition, no support is given to families who want to keep their loved ones at home, and no money- £62 carers allowance, £103 DLA, schools , community centres.

And spurious, ‘safeguarding’, and abuse issues, not proven, are alleged against parents to obtain court orders to remove their child for ever.

As a huge bounty is on these adult’s heads, and it is guaranteed and for life.
